The shares of renewable energy are drowning in the United States! Donald Trump has sent a shockwave through the industry with his promise to close the renewable power projects on his potential presidential "first day". We're going to make sure that it will end on the first day," Trump said of the offshore window. "

According to a Reuters report, the world's largest offshore air developer has already reduced by 5 percent, while air turbine manufacturers Vestas and Nordex have made 5 percent and 5.5 percent of the transaction, respectively.

His previous election campaign claimed that solar panels needed large places like the whole desert to generate the power of the solar panels.
However, according to the Solar Energy Industries Association, the actual land requirements for solar panels are relatively small, most utility-scale solar operating today, they have used less than 5,7 acres.

If Trump wants to follow his promise, it will have a significant impact on the renewable power sector. Because he may try to eradicate or reduce tax credits for renewable energy projects, which can cripple the industry growth.

He could quickly dismantle environmental regulations enacted by the Biden administration and make it easier for fossil fuel companies to reinvest in the economy.

A Trump presidency would shift energy policy, favoring fossil fuels over renewable energy sources.

Trump also promised to end the electric vehicle mandate, which could harm the EV industry and its related infrastructure.
Last December, he posted on Truth Social that EV supporters should “rot in hell.” However, Trump’s stance on cars has taken a dramatic turn since he met with Tesla CEO and the world’s richest person, Elon Musk. Now, he claims to be “all for electric cars” and believes they are suitable for “a small segment” of the population.

At a recent rally, Trump admitted that his change of heart is largely due to Musk’s support. “I’m all for electric cars — I have to be because Elon has supported me,” Trump said. “I have no choice.” The shift is surprising, considering Trump's history of criticizing electric vehicles, even calling them "hoaxes."

But it's safe to say that the uncertainty surrounding Trump's energy policies has already caused concern among renewable energy investors and supporters.
