The newest design, by Envision Energy of China, the EN 182/5MW onshore platform, was showcased at the highly regarded WindEnergy Hamburg 2024. It is a technological platform where wind power will reach a breakthrough due to high AEP gains above 40%. This turbine has high-temperature resistance of as high as 50°C, while the efficiency factor is heightened by 98% uptime in high winds demonstrating Envision's commitment to technological progress.


Proven performance and market impact


Since Envision entered the Indian market for the EN 131/2.5MW turbine in 2017, Envision has quickly built a reputation for high-quality performance.
Launched in 2021, the EN 156/3.3MW platform received wide acclamation among 21 IPPs and thus enabled projects across six states. Envision is thus all set to continue providing advanced solutions in the wind energy market with the launch of the next-generation EN 182/5MW platforms by Q1 2026.

Investing in India's Wind Energy Sector


Envision has strategically focused on India, investing about ₹500 crores assured of creating over 2,500 direct and indirect jobs. Operations in India commenced with a 3GW annual manufacturing capacity comprising a nacelle and hub facility in Pune and a blade factory with a capacity of 150MW in Trichy. Further expansion plans will be implemented towards continuous growth and demand impetus in the renewable energy sector.
