Empire Energy Offshore has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sarens, a global heavy lifting and engineering firm based in Belgium, to advance US offshore wind development to meet the growing demand for large-scale projects for US offshore wind developers.

Empire Energy Offshore will lead the project as the primary EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractor and Sarens will provide heavy lifting and transportation services. Both hope that this MOU will formalize the companies' intention to combine their strengths and offer a unified EPC solution for the US offshore wind market.

Across Europe, Asia, and the US, including the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind Farm, Sarens has an impressive track record in offshore wind projects. It has established a successful leader in the global wind energy market, contributing valuable expertise.
